Town Woods Road

Cove Road

Mt. Archer Road (back side)

1ST ROUND OF CHIP SEALING ANNOUNCED

Lyme’s first stage of summer chip sealing is tentatively scheduled to begin Thursday or Friday of this week. (July 17th or 18th) Avenue B and Hickory Street are slated for treatment. Hopefully, the rain we are experiencing today and forecast for tomorrow, will not push back the contractor’s schedule. Our apologies for any inconvenience during the project.

COVE ROAD CLOSURE ANNOUNCED

Monday, July 14th, 2014

A tree company has been retained to take down a hazardous tree in the vicinity of 47 Cove Road. The job will be done this Wednesday the 17th and will take most of the day. Given the equipment that will be used and the difficulty of the project, Cove will be closed that day to through traffic. The Board of Selectmen thanks everyone for their patience while we remove this dangerous dead tree.

Due to a software     issue, all trips that were booked on Monday, July 7th were lost. If you     booked a trip yesterday, please call us at 860-510-0429 option 1 to     re-book.

Anyone who called     9 Town Transit yesterday may also receive a call from our software     contractor Ecolane. They will be calling everyone who called our main     number yesterday to proactively try to confirm all reservations that were     made yesterday.
