Effective October 2016, the Town of Lyme’s ISO rating will be upgraded to a 8B/10 classification resulting from the Fire Company’s response to a request for an ISO audit and onsite inspection.
For homeowners and businesses operating in the Town of Lyme, this means you should check with your insurance company to make sure they are aware of the class change. Based on this improved rating, you should be eligible for a reduced policy premium.
This would not have been possible without the dedicated effort of Lyme’s fire company volunteers who devote countless hours of their time training to handle fire emergencies and the town’s taxpayers who make it possible for them to respond to these calls with the best possible equipment.
