DUI enforcement activity in Lyme has been stepped up recently as the result of a Federal Highway Safety Program grant just awarded to the town following submission of an application prepared by authorities at Troop F of the Connecticut State Police in Westbrook.
The grant covers approximately two-thirds of the total program cost and the next roving DUI enforcement patrol is scheduled for Friday, August 24th, with subsequent patrols to be scheduled during the month of September.
