IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE NOVEMBER 6, 2012 ELECTION
VOTER REGISTRATION
All Mail-in Voter Registrations must be postmarked by October 23.
The last day for in-person regular voter registration is October 30. Applicants must appear in person at the Town Hall located at 480 Hamburg Road. The Town Clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Registrars Office will be open 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on October 30.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots are available from Town Clerk and must be returned to the Town Clerk no later than8:00 PM on Election Day.
Requests for an absentee ballot may be made in person at the Town Clerk’s office or you may download an application from the Secretary of the State’s website at www.sots.ct/gov
ELECTION DAY
The Electors of the Town of Lyme are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling place in said town on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, for the following purpose:
To cast their votes for Presidential and Vice-Presidential electors, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, Registrar of Voters.
Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling place is as follows:

Voting tabulators will be used. The polls will be opened at six o’clock in the morning (6:00 AM) and will remain open until eight o’clock in the evening (8:00 PM).
