In response to requests from member towns, the Estuary Transit District has established a new fare discount for both member and contract towns.
The discount will be 15% off the regular price of tickets and monthly passes. To receive the discount, tickets or passes must be purchased on the 9 Town Transit website- 9towntransit.com– or at the district office which is located at 17 Industrial Park Road, Suite 6, Centerbrook, CT. If purchased on line, a town hall mailing address or email address will be required. When purchasing at the district office, a business card or other item showing town residence will be required. Transit District retail outlets will not be offering this discount.
The district’s board of directors took this action in hopes of assisting member towns in providing their residents with transportation assistance.
