The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 148 in Lyme.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.60 mile segment of Route 148 in Lyme. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur on Monday, May 19, 2014. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, May 20, through Thursday, May 22, 2014.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 148 between State Service Route 431 (Geer Hill Rd.) to Route 82 in Lyme. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
