The LYME EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CENTER (located at the back of the Hamburg Fire Station) is open today (Friday) as a community respite center from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Residents are welcome to come to the center to stay warm, charge cell phones or take a shower. (Bring your own towels if you plan to shower.) Park in the back of the fire station and enter the lower door in the back. There will be a sign, and a sign-in sheet.
The LYMES’ SENIOR CENTER at 26 Town Woods Road in Old Lyme is open today (Friday) from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. – as an additional community respite center, another place to stay warm or charge phones.
Drive with caution as road conditions may be hazardous.
