The Lyme Public Hall will hold its Annual Chowder Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu this year includes Connecticut clam chowder, corn chowder, newfangled coleslaw, cheddar cheese, delicious breads and homemade desserts. The cost is $15 for adults; $10 for children 7 to 12; and free for children 6 and under. The Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Rt. 156) in Lyme. The Lyme Volunteer Fair will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Lyme Public Library, where more than 30 Lyme-affiliated nonprofits, associations, boards and commissions will be on hand with opportunities for local residents to volunteer and be of service to our town.
