The workshop series will help novice and experienced writers explore the personal stories they alone can tell through writing prompts, readings of memoirs and homework assignments. The instructor, Joan Motyka, is a former editor and writing coach at the “New York Times.” Space is limited and preregistration is required. The cost is $30 for Lyme Public Hall and Friends of the Lyme Library members, $50 for nonmembers. To enroll, call 860-526-8886.
