On Sunday, Jun. 2, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., the Town of Lyme, the Lyme Land Conservation Trust (LLCT) and Audubon Connecticut will offer a Restoration Ecology Workshop at the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center at 90 Halls Road in Old Lyme.  The free workshop will explain how restoring native habitat in your backyard can help area wildlife.  Pam Hine, a senior lecturer in Botany at Connecticut College, will share her knowledge and insight on restoring ecosystems.  This free event is part of a Bird Workshop Series offered by the Lyme Forest Block Conservation Project—an initiative launched by Audubon Connecticut in partnership with the Town of Lyme, the LLCT, the Eightmile River Wild & Scenic Watershed Coordinating Committee, the Nature Conservancy, and other local land trusts and municipalities.  Space is limited. Please fill out this RSVP form if you plan to attend.  For more information, send an email to gnuttall@audobon.org
