At a recent meeting of the Board of Selectmen, the board established the Consultant Engineer Selection Committee for the Macintosh Bridge; and appointed five members to serve on this committee, which will help the Town select an engineering firm to oversee the bridge’s replacement. This will be a large project that will take place over the next several years.
The committee members are:
- Don Gerber – Chair
- Lars Anderson
- Mac Byrnes
- Dan Hagan
- Steven Mattson
The Town is working with the federal local bridge program on this project, in hopes of being reimbursed for 80 percent of the bridge-replacement costs.
