This ordinance will be discussed and voted on at the 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, Town Meeting at Lyme Town Hall. All Lyme residents who are qualified to vote in the Town Meeting are invited to attend.
Last day for timely payment of taxes levied on personal property list as of the previous October 1.

On Saturday, Sep. 26, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lyme Public Library: Author Erik Hesselberg presents “Night Boat to New York: Steamboats on the Connecticut 1824-1931” – which explores the days when steamboats on the Connecticut River transported people and goods between Hartford and New York City, and helped transplant the inland America “Spa Culture” to the seashore. Departing each afternoon from Hartford, the “night boats” reached New York at daybreak, inaugurating a pattern of city commuting that continues to this day. Free and open to all.
