2020 Marriage Licenses

In accordance with Governor Lamont’s Executive Order No. 7L, marriage licenses issued during the public health emergency will be valid for an additional 60 days, thus making the licenses valid for a total of 125 days.

If you are planning to marry in Connecticut, you must obtain your marriage license from the vital records office of the town where the marriage will take place.

Couples planning to marry in Lyme must appear in person before the Town Clerk, show valid identification and pay the fee of $50 by cash or check payable to Town of Lyme.  (Credit cards are not accepted.)
