As announced earlier, the Hamburg Recycling Center is closed until further notice and residents will either need to hang onto their recyclables for disposal at a future date, or dispose of their recyclables as household garbage. Jansky Rubbish offers a third alternative for Lyme residents who would like to continue recycling during the public health emergency. Jansky will pick up your recyclables on an every-other-Thursday basis, starting April 9, for the fee of $10 a month. To place yourself on Jansky’s recycling route, please contact Angie Jansky at info@janskysrubbish.com or 860-434-9271.
