On March 13, First Selectman Steven Mattson announced that, as part of the Town’s civil preparedness for the coronavirus, effectively immediately until midnight of April 30 unless otherwise announced, the Town of Lyme would:
- close Town Hall, the Lyme Public Library and Lyme Fire Stations to the general public;
- prohibit the use of Town facilities for nongovernmental activities and events; and
- suspend in-person meetings of Town boards and commissions.
