Due to the physical closure of Town Hall, the Land-Use Office will operate as best as possible from home offices using electronic means and the U.S. Postal Service.
Lyme residents should submit all permit applications and documentation by email if possible; then, after a review by the Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO), follow their submission up with a fee payment via the U.S. Postal Service. (If you are unable to submit your application and documentation by email, you may submit it through the U.S. mail.)
Applications that require Planning and Zoning Commission, Conservation Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals rulings will be conducted as part of their normal Commission and Board schedule if possible; or within the recently allowed 90-day extension if the public health emergency has not ended.
While the public health emergency continues, Commission and Board meetings, including Public Hearings, will be conducted remotely using the Zoom application.
Notices and agendas of meetings will be posted on the Town website along with Zoom instructions to log on or call into a meeting.
Site visits will be kept to a minimum and will be done solo.
