The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a milling and paving project will be performed on Route 156 in East Haddam, Lyme and Old Lyme.
The milling is scheduled to take place from Monday, June 1, through Tuesday, June 23; and the paving is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, July 7, through Wednesday, July 22.
Lane closures will occur on Route 56 from Route 82 in East Haddam through Lyme to Route 1 in Old Lyme. Traffic-control personnel and signing patterns will be onsite to guide drivers through the work zone.
The regular work schedule will be Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
