On Sunday, Mar. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the LLT will offer guided walks in two Lyme preserves to look for tracks and other evidence left behind by wildlife. The Banningwood Preserve walk will be led by LLT’s environmental director Sue Cope; the Pleasant Valley Preserve walk will be led by forest ecologist Tony Irving. Space is limited. Reservations are required. Contact education@lymelandtrust.org to reserve a spot; be sure to indicate which walk is preferred.
On Thursday, Mar. 11, at 5:00 p.m., the Friends of the Public Library will offer an “Asian Fusion,” a Zoom cooking demonstration by Fox Hopyard Executive Chef James Martell. The Town of Lyme will hold a Public Information Meeting on Thursday, Mar. 11, at 6:00 p.m., on WebEx to discuss the replacement of Bridge No. 04726 on Macintosh Road over Eight Mile River. Residents, business owners, commuters and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend to learn about and discuss the proposed project.
