The interactive webinar will take participants on a virtual tour of the watershed, highlighting the flora and fauna, and unique aspects of its natural and human history. On Sunday, Mar. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the LLT will offer guided walks in two Lyme preserves to look for tracks and other evidence left behind by wildlife. The Banningwood Preserve walk will be led by LLT’s environmental director Sue Cope; the Pleasant Valley Preserve walk will be led by forest ecologist Tony Irving. Space is limited. The Town of Lyme will hold a Public Information Meeting on Thursday, Mar. 11, at 6:00 p.m., on WebEx to discuss the replacement of Bridge No. 04726 on Macintosh Road over Eight Mile River. Residents, business owners, commuters and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend to learn about and discuss the proposed project.
