In June, the State of Connecticut is going to begin repair work on two Route 82 bridges in Salem that will have an impact on traffic through Lyme – as the detours required for this bridge work will reroute traffic onto Route 156 and Salem Road. Detour signs have already gone up along Route 156 in town (and are currently covered by plastic). The bridge work and its associated detours are expected to last from June 19 through August 22.
