On Saturday, Jun. 12, the Lyme Land Trust (LLT) will offer the final meetings of its outdoor clubs for children at two different Lyme preserves. The Sapling Club (for elementary school children) will meet from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Banningwood Preserve. The Hiking Club (for middle school children) will meet from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Lay-Allen Preserve. Registration is required; space is limited. The Lyme Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Lyme Town Hall to hear and act on the following matters:
- An application to amend zoning regulations by Edward M. Bombaci, 131-2 Salem Road, Map 46 Lot 3, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots; and an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 2.2, Definitions.
- An application to amend zoning regulations by William T. Koch Jr., Avenue B, Map 40.4 Lot 4, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots.
