On Thursday, Jul. 8, at 7:00 p.m., the Friends of the Public Library will offer “Whale Ho!” – a virtual presentation from Mystic Seaport Museum the offers a fascinating look at the origins of whaling, the role it played in the development of America and the factors that transformed us as a nation from whale hunters to whale watchers.
