On Saturday, Dec. 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Lyme Land Trust will hold an “Approaching Winter” astronomy observing session led by Scott Mallory at an area location to be disclosed. Participants will be invited to park in a designated area by 5:30 p.m. and walk to the observing field, dressed for temperatures 10 to 20 degrees lower than forecast. Reservations are required. The Lyme Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Lyme Town Hall to hear and act on the following matters:
- An application to amend zoning regulations by Edward M. Bombaci, 131-2 Salem Road, Map 46 Lot 3, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots; and an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 2.2, Definitions.
- An application to amend zoning regulations by William T. Koch Jr., Avenue B, Map 40.4 Lot 4, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots.
