On Saturday, Jan. 22, at 3:00 p.m., at Lyme Public Hall, four area organizations will offer a workshop entitled “Propagating Pollinator Plants from Seed” with Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History Education Coordinator Jim Sirch.  Sirch will teach participants the different germination requirements for different kinds of seeds, as well as how to plant a plastic milk jug with a seed selection to stratify over the winter.  The workshop is sponsored by Friends of the Lyme Public Library, the Lyme Land Trust, Lyme Public Hall and the Lyme Pollinator Pathway.  To register for the program, residents should send an email with their full name to education@lymelandtrust.org
