On Saturday, Jan. 15, and Saturday, Jan. 22, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Lyme Public Library will offer a two-part workshop entitled “How To Make a Junk Journal,” during which Library Director Melissa Fournier will instruct participants in how to make a “junk journal” for the storage of mementos from an old book. The Lyme Volunteer Fair will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Lyme Public Library, where more than 30 Lyme-affiliated nonprofits, associations, boards and commissions will be on hand with opportunities for local residents to volunteer and be of service to our town.
