On Saturday, Jan. 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Hamburg Station, Lyme Ambulance will hold a free “Emergency 101” class for Lyme residents to help them prepare for an emergency. The class will explain not only when to call for emergency help, but what to do while waiting for first responders to arrive – e.g., how to perform hands-only CPR, stop bleeding, recognize a stroke, treat shock, etc. For more information, see the flyer. Space is limited; registration is required. To register, send an email to deputychief@lymeambulance.org.
