Meet Author Elaine Alexander
As part of the library’s “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” summer reading program, author Elaine Alexander will read from her new book, “Anglerfish: The Seadevil of the Deep.”  To register for the program, send an email to programreg@lymepl.org.

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center Event
As part of the library’s “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” summer reading program, educational instructors from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will discuss the kinds of mammals, amphibians, reptiles and insects that live in and around ponds; and present live turtles and frogs.  To register for the program, send an email toprogramreg@lymepl.org.

Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party with Braiden Sunshine

Racial Equity Book Club
The Lyme Public Library’s Racial Equity Book Club will discuss “Dying of Whiteness: How the Politics of Racial Resentment is Killing America’s Heartland” by Jonathan Metzl, copies of which will be available at the circulation desk.  The event is cosponsored by the Bigelow Library in Clinton, Massachusetts. History of Women’s Suffrage in America Presentation

“As the Page Turns” Book Club Monthly Meeting
“As the Page Turns” – the book club cosponsored by the Lyme Public Library and Lymes’ Senior Center – will discuss “Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Family” by Patrick Radden Keefe.
