Afternoon Art Studio for Students in Grades 1-5
Local artist and educator Margo Packer will instruct students in Grades 1-5 how to create an expressive artistic project that can be taken home. Supplies will be provided. The Lyme Public Library’s Racial Equity Book Club will discuss “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People To Talk about Racism” by Dr. Robin D’Angelo, copies of which will be available at the circulation desk. Lyme Volunteer Fair
The library, together with the Lyme Democratic Town Committee and Lyme Republican Town Committee, will hold a volunteer fair from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to help local residents identify volunteer opportunities with town boards, commissions and other affiliated organizations that would welcome their skills, time and expertise. The event is open to all. No registration is required.
