Lymes Creative Arts – a program of the Lyme Sustainable Committee that encourages Lyme and Old Lyme students in grades 6-12 to participate in the arts over the summer – is offering mini-grants of up to $1,000 (plus materials) to instructors who provide hands-on arts opportunities for Lyme and Old Lyme teens this summer. Proposals are due by April 3. Programming must occur between June 20 and August 20. Full grant instructions and application forms are posted on the Lyme Creative Arts website. Lymes Creative Arts is a collaborative effort of the Lyme Sustainable Committee, Sustainable Old Lyme and the Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau.
