Light Pollution in the Connecticut River Valley – Part 1
Misha Semonov-Leiva & Alan Sheiness discuss the effects of an artificially brightened night sky on aquatic and terrestrial life in a presentation at the Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library. “Tree Collective” Teen Steward Group Hike with Regan Stacey
The Land Trust’s “Tree Collective program” engages young people ages 14 to 18 in outdoor fun and education while working to maintain area trails.  Local environmentalist and artist Regan Stacey will lead the teenagers on a 14-mile hike along the Goodwin Trail.  To register, send an email to reganstacey@gmail.com.  For more information, go here.

Mother’s Day Forest Bathing with Regan Stacey
This forest bathing excursion along the Ravine Trail led by local environmentalist and artist Regan Stacey invites participants to take in the restorative health benefits of being in a forest and concludes with a flower-blossom tea.
