LEGAL NOTICE
BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS
TOWN OF LYME

Pursuant to Section 12-111 of the Connecticut General Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Lyme Board of Assessment Appeals will meet on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the Lyme Town Hall Conference Room, 480 Hamburg Road, Lyme, CT. This session will be to hear appeals of the October 1, 2022, Grand List for Motor Vehicles only. Appeals are held on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Lyme Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Lyme Town Hall to hear and act on the following matters:

An application to amend zoning regulations by Edward M. Bombaci, 131-2 Salem Road, Map 46 Lot 3, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots; and an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 2.2, Definitions.
An application to amend zoning regulations by William T. Koch Jr., Avenue B, Map 40.4 Lot 4, requesting an amendment to Chapter 315, Article 23.3, Existing nonconforming lots.
The cover letter sent by the Lyme Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) to the P&Z Commission, neighboring municipalities and regional organizations regarding the public hearing on the Bombaci amendment request can be read here.

The Assessor’s normal office hours at Town Hall are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
