As part of the Macintosh Bridge Replacement Project, Macintosh Road in the area adjacent to the bridge is scheduled to be closed for paving from the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 18, and all-day Thursday, Oct. 19 – with the road expected to reopen the morning of Friday, Oct. 20. During the road closure, residents will not be able to access the swimming hole or the parking area for the Pleasant Valley Preserve.
