Connecticut Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz is planning to hold a ceremony honoring living veterans who served in the Korean War and Vietnam War. As a result, First Selectman David Lahm is compiling a list of Lyme veterans who served in these wars to pass along to the Lt. Governor. To qualify, the veteran does not need to have been deployed overseas, just to have served between 1950 and 1953, or between 1961 and 1975. Lyme residents who served in the armed forces during these dates are encouraged to contact First Selectman Lahm at 860-434-7733 or selectman@townlyme.org.
