At its monthly business meeting on Mar. 10, members of the Lyme Fire Company recognized Lyme residents who have supported the mission of the fire department over the years, including during the recent major weather events. The fire company’s Facebook post said:
“To show our appreciation, our supporters received honorary Lyme Fire department member badges, as part of our FD family, with station privileges and admission to our events including our annual steak dinner.
“On Tuesday we honored the following:

- Jimmy and Angie Jansky
- The members of Lyme Public Works (Lars, Bob, Chris, PJ and Kyle)
- Marielle Hickey (Hadlyme Country Store)
- Steve Deveaux (Deveaux Lawn & Landscape)
“Congratulations to our inductees! Because of you, we are a better fire department and thanks for being there for us.”
