The Connecticut Department of Transportation is performing chip sealing today at Route 82 and going south, so residents may encounter travel delays at the top of Route 156. Once the crew finishes today, chip sealing is expected to resume next Tuesday. Residents should expect additional truck traffic, periodic delays and temporary lane restrictions.
