On Thursday, Jul. 30, the Pond and Lake Connection will be applying two herbicides, Propeller and ProcellaCOR, to areas of Rogers Lake that were found to have the invasive plants Fanwort or Variable Leaf Milfoil.  In total, about 18 acres of the 260-acre lake will be treated.  Both herbicides have been used in the lake in prior years.  Please note that lake water should not be used for irrigation purposes for FIVE days after the application. There are no other restrictions on the use of lake for recreation or drinking water.  The herbicide is applied from an airboat, so it may be a bit noisy in parts of the lake.
