Verizon cell service has been down for the past week north of Tiffany Farms and into Hamburg. We now know why: the antenna and transmitter mounted on the large grain silo at Tiffany Farms broke down.
The good news: Verizon has a crew and a crane ready to go. They’ve gotten permission to access the Tiffany Farms property and swap out the broken equipment. They’re hoping to finish the repair by Thursday.
Thank you to Verizon for moving quickly on this.
We’ll post more updates as we have them.
