Verizon has identified the cause of the ongoing cell service outage affecting the area north of Tiffany Farms into Hamburg: a faulty antenna and transmitter.
A rapid response crew, including a crane, has been granted access to the Tiffany Farms property to replace the damaged equipment, which is mounted on the exterior of the large grain silo. Verizon expects repairs to be completed by Thursday.
