As of 6:30 AM, we have 12 reported power outages in Lyme. Over the next few hours, town crews will begin assessing roads throughout Lyme for any accessibility issues.
If you come across a downed power line, a tree or branch caught in power lines, or a tree completely blocking a road, please call 911 to report it immediately.
The storm is progressing as expected. We anticipate another 24–36 hours of wind and rain, with the storm peaking over the next 12–24 hours. In addition to a few inches of rain, we’re expecting coastal flooding during high tides — please plan accordingly if you’re near the shoreline.
