“Visit the Library” Time for Children Ages 2 & Up @ Lyme Public Library

On Wednesdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26, at 10:30 a.m., the Lyme Public Library is offering “Visit the Library” time in its children’s room for children ages 2 and up, along with their parents or caregivers.  The children will be encouraged to become familiar with the library, have a book read to them and begin the process of selecting their own books.  Space is limited.  For more details, contact the library at 860-434-2272 or visit

“Eastern Coyotes in Connecticut” Presentation @ Lyme Public Library

On Thursday, Jan. 20, at 7:00 p.m., the Lyme Land Trust and Friends of the Lyme Public Library are offering a presentation called “Eastern Coyotes in Connecticut” with master wildlife conservationist Paul Colburn at the library.  Colburn will discuss the history of coyotes in Connecticut and provide an overview of their habitat, diet and behavior.  For more information, contact Registration is requested.
