Tuesday Trek @ Chestnut Hill Preserve/Nehantic State Forest

On Tuesday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Lyme’s Open Space Coordinator Wendy Hill and others continue to lead “Tuesday Treks” – weekly walks through different Town preserves.  Trek leaders alternate between Sue Cope, Tony Irving, Kristina White and Wendy Hill. (To reserve a spot, contact the appropriate trek leader; see below.)  In the event of inclement weather, the treks are canceled.

After-School Art & Storytime (Grades K-5) @ Lyme Public Library
Feb 1 @ 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm

On Tuesdays, Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Lyme Public Library will offer its “After-School Art & Storytime” program for children in Grades K-5.  The children’s librarian will read a story to the children; the children will then create an art project based on the story with local artist and educator Kristen Thornton. Nutmeg Book Club @ Lyme Public Library
Feb 1 @ 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm

On Tuesdays, Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Lyme Public Library’s after-school “Nutmeg Book Club” for Grades 2-3 and Grades 4-5 will meet to read, review and discuss books that have been nominated for the 2022 Nutmeg Book Award.
