Last Day To File Personal Property List without Penalty @ Lyme Town Hall
Nov 1 all-day

List of personal property must be filed on or before November 1 to avoid a 25% penalty.

The Assessor’s normal office hours at Town Hall are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

Annual Lyme Artists Sale @ Lyme Public Hall
Nov 2 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

The Lyme Public Hall will hold its annual Lyme Artists Sale on Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

The eight Lyme artists whose work will be featured this year include:  Steven Evankow, stone bird baths; Angie Falstrom, watercolors; Judy Friday, paintings and hooked pillows; Don Gerber, woodturning; Ann Lightfoot, jewelry; Diana Lord, oil paintings;  Lina Tuck, felted bags; and Tina West, hand knitting.   

The event is free and open to the public.

Annual Chowder Dinner @ Lyme Public Hall
Nov 10 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

The Lyme Public Hall will hold its Annual Chowder Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu this year includes Connecticut clam chowder, corn chowder, newfangled coleslaw, cheddar cheese, delicious breads and homemade desserts.  The cost is $15 for adults; $10 for children 7 to 12; and free for children 6 and under. The Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Rt. 156) in Lyme.  For more information, please send an email to wdenow@comcast.net.
