The eight Lyme artists whose work will be featured this year include: Steven Evankow, stone bird baths; Angie Falstrom, watercolors; Judy Friday, paintings and hooked pillows; Don Gerber, woodturning; Ann Lightfoot, jewelry; Diana Lord, oil paintings; Lina Tuck, felted bags; and Tina West, hand knitting.
The event is free and open to the public.

Ceremony recognizing the achievements of Theodore Wayland and Evan St. Louis, who have recently been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.
The Lyme School PTO Cultural Awareness Committee will host a discussion for Lyme parents with Sam Drazin, executive director of Changing Perspectives, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lyme Consolidated School Library. The Lyme Public Hall will hold its Annual Chowder Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu this year includes Connecticut clam chowder, corn chowder, newfangled coleslaw, cheddar cheese, delicious breads and homemade desserts. The cost is $15 for adults; $10 for children 7 to 12; and free for children 6 and under. The Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Rt. 156) in Lyme.
