State Representative Devin Carney provides a legislative update for the residents of the Town of Lyme at the Lyme Public Library. The public forum is an opportunity for local residents to hear about issues likely to be taken up during the current legislative session and ask questions about matters of local or state importance.
On Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lyme Public Library: Civil rights supporter Prudence Allen, who was raised in Connecticut, served as secretary to Coretta Scott King and marched in civil rights marches in the 1960s, will share memories and stories of working alongside Dr. Martin Luther King and his family.
