On Saturday, Feb. 27, at 2:00 p.m., the Friends of the Lyme Public Library will offer “Eco-Safari of the Connecticut Watershed,” a Zoom presentation by conservation biologist Jim Arrigoni. The interactive webinar will take participants on a virtual tour of the watershed, highlighting the flora and fauna, and unique aspects of its natural and human history. On Sunday, Feb. 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Lyme Land Trust will offer a geology walk in the Brockway-Hawthorne Preserve with former state geologist Ralph Lewis. Masks must be worn in the parking lot, but may be removed during the walk if social distancing is maintained. Reservations are required. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a spot.
