On Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m., the Lyme Open Space Coordinator and the Lyme Land Conservation Trust have arranged a presentation by photographer Markham Starr entitled “Ceremonial Stonework: The Enduring Native American Presence on the Land” at the Lyme Public Hall.  Starr’s slide presentation will take the audience on an extended walk through the woods to see the ceremonial stonework left behind by the indigenous population that inhabited New England for 12,000 years. Attendees will be invited to a walk to see some of this stonework in local preserves on Saturday, Nov. 16, or Sunday, Nov. 17. For more information, contact Wendy Hill at openspace@townlyme.org.
