On Saturday, Jun. 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the newly established Lyme Pollinator Pathway (LPP) will hold a Community Work Day to improve the site of a pollinator meadow and nature trail at the Lyme Land Trust’s Riverside Preserve – a haven for butterflies and other pollinators along the bank of the Eightmile River.  Participants will learn how to recognize native and invasive plants, and leave with the knowledge and resources to create a pollinator patch of their own.  Participants are encouraged to bring a pair of work gloves, clippers/loppers, a shovel and a water bottle. Register for the work day by sending an email to sue.cope@lymelandtrust.org. The LPP is an initiative of the Town of Lyme and the Lyme Land Trust.
