On Saturday, Jun. 29, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., the Town of Lyme, the Lyme Land Conservation Trust (LLCT) and Audubon Connecticut will offer a Watershed Management Workshop in the Community Room of the Lyme Public Library at 482 Hamburg Road in Lyme.  The free workshop will feature Pat Young and/or Anthony Irving speaking on watershed-friendly habitat management that can provide support for a wide variety of birds all year long.  Both speakers are members of the Eightmile River Wild & Scenic Watershed Coordinating Committee.  This free event is part of a Bird Workshop Series offered by the Lyme Forest Block Conservation Project—an initiative launched by Audubon Connecticut in partnership with the Town of Lyme, the LLCT, the Eightmile River Wild & Scenic Watershed Coordinating Committee, the Nature Conservancy, and other local land trusts and municipalities.  Space is limited.
