The Town Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer are responsible for managing the Town’s monetary accounts. They work closely with the Board of Selectpeople and the Board of Finance in all matters involving the Town’s finances, including:
- investing the Town’s General Fund and Specific Funds in interest-bearing accounts; and
- preparing monthly and quarterly cash reconciliations.
The residents of Lyme elect the Treasurer, who then serves for a two-year term. The Treasurer appoints the Deputy Treasurer, who also serves for a two-year term. The current officials are:
