The state Department of Transportation has scheduled two public information sessions on its proposal to close the state-operated Chester-Hadlyme and Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferries: – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.on Aug. 22 in Council Chambers in the Rocky Hill Town Hall, at761 Old Main St. in Rocky Hill -6 p.m. to 8 p.m.on Aug. 25 at the Chester Meeting House, at 4 Liberty St. in Chester
BOE meetings begin at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. The majority of meetings are livestreamed on the BOE’s YouTube page at https://tinyurl.com/rrrrw2zj. (Videos of previous meetings can also be found on this page.)
The Lyme Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Lyme Town Hall to hear and act on the following matters:

Any person may attend the public hearing to voice their opinion.

List of personal property must be filed on or before November 1 to avoid a 25% penalty.
The Assessor’s normal office hours at Town Hall are from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
