During the Nov. 8 State Election, registered voters in the Town of Lyme will be asked to vote “Yes” or “No” on the following ballot question: “Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?”

As a reminder:

  • Registered voters in the Town of Lyme who are planning to vote in person on Nov. 8 will vote in the State Election and the Regional School District 18 Bond Referendum at Lyme Town Hall, 480 Hamburg Road, Lyme, Connecticut.
  • Individuals who are not registered voters, but who are considered under State law to be “qualified voters” for the purpose of the voting in the Regional School District 18 Bond Referendum, will vote at the Lyme Public Library, 482 Hamburg Road, Lyme, Connecticut. A “qualified voter” is any citizen of the United States of the age of 18 years or more who, jointly or severally, is liable to the town for taxes assessed against him on an assessment of not less than one thousand dollars on the last-completed grand list of such town.

In-person voting will take place on Nov. 8 from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
